I felt a natural interest in learning modal guitar as a teenager, and focused on just a single mode for a while. Then went to study contemporary guitar for three years at Southern Cross University in Lismore, New South Wales, Australia.
That was cool, valuable work, a musical adventure during the early 1990's. Since then, I have sometimes played a lot, and sometimes did not play much guitar. It's important to avoid overdoing things, and yet one of the most valuable elements of life is passion. To play, to write, to learn, to apply the knowledge and find new cool ideas custom accompany musical inspirations that just seem to happen naturally.
